Two-Factor Authentication (2FA)

What is Two-Factor Authentication (2FA)?

Two-factor authentication, paired with a password is a more secure way to access your account on the web. When signing in, you will be prompted for:

  1. Something you know - Your password

  2. Something you have - A device in which you can receive a 6-digit code via text message or Authenticator App

Option 1 - Text Message

  • When setting up a 2FA via text message for the first time, you will be asked to enter your mobile phone number and a 6-digit code will be sent via SMS.

  • Each time you attempt to sign in from a new device (or your current session has expired), a new code will be sent to your phone.

Option 2 - Authenticator App

An authenticator app is a stronger form of 2FA that uses a setup key to create verification codes directly on your device.

  1. Install an authenticator app on your mobile device (see below)

  2. Scan the QR code with your app. You may copy and paste the text code instead.

  3. Enter the 6-digit code generated by your authenticator app.
